It is a good idea from time to time to open up the front of your Kaleido Coffee Roaster to clean any of the stuck on oils and chaff. To do so, we have linked the following video. We have been asked, can I use a cleaning detergent if needed? We recommend using Cafiza on the drum, removable heat shields, and the chaff bin, make sure to remove the drum before using cleaning solution, do not use inside of the roaster. For the roast chamber we recommend you use a towel or brush to clean. Ensure everything is dry before reassembly. Kaleido roasters are made from food-grade stainless steel.
